We never had cups growing up ! Always shared the bottle . Back in the 70’s , it was the s**t !!

I came across this brand and I wanted to see the reviews first and I’m glad it landed me here. Keep it up!

Great video! Tried the McManis 2022 Voigniew (River Valley AVA) and it was clear, medium gold in appearance. The nose was clean, pronounced with primary and for sure some secondary, as for aromas - primary - pear, apricot, peach, mineral/wet stone - secondary - vanilla, there was a sense of cream which is weird becase it done in stanless (per spec sheet from McManis). Maybe its some blending from Chenic Blac? BLIC it - very good. For sure will get a few more of these for the price/value its a fun wine. See you have another Vionier review, will check that out! Love seeing you do a Rexford review, and Santa Cruz Mountains AVA at that. I'm a Rexford member, have been for years. Joe (wine maker) and his son Sam are incredible at their craft. They source Pinot and other varietals from all over the region as they do not own any vineyards. They have had nice long relationships with the farmers and know how to get some of the best sourced fruit possible. I urge you to try some of their other Pinot's, Merlot's, Zin's, Cab's, and Chards. The Santa Cruz Mountain Pinot's are some of the best you can find in the US for sure. Thanks for the review of one of my favorite wineries.

If you get high off the appeal of spending alot for sake your blocking it's amazing qualities by what you spend and perceive!

You need to look on the bottom .... 30 is nice cognitive buzz..... Down to 0 is more a drunk feel. Depends on what you want. If you can find the appointed use the label to change how it feels. Lots of tech in this bottle actually. Industry 20.0 tech. Lots of

The stem kills this product for beach use. As far as a "classy barbeque wino" is concerned, the cup is very nerdy and puts on display that the drinker doesn't appreciate good wine and that the drinker probably has Barefoot or Cupcake wine inside. Just my opinion and you know how opinions are :) Kind of along the same lines, I just bought a Yeti 16oz Koozie ($30) for the beach and it works and looks amazing. It can be used at the beach without screaming alcohol which is great thing.

What a farce. I have had that year and found it spectacular. Definitely deserving a 90 + rating. I was actually searching for a couple of cases when I came across a guy in a pooh hat ( this goof in the video) this is bound to become a Pontet Canet, Baron Pichot or Lynch Bages in years to follow. All of those I purchased at 10 dollar per bottle prices. Pontet Canet since 1980 and wish I had more.

This was a favorite from when I was a kid. I have a memory of my friends and I going to a drive in movie and we all had our own bottle. I don’t remember the movie but I fondly remember the Strawberry Hill and the experience.

Dude I'm sorry but I watched this and immediately don't like anything about this. You come across as super snobby. Just review the wine, you immediately start bashing it before even tasting it, this isn't a review, you did this video just to bash something that a lot of people like. I can't honestly give you any credit as a real reviewer and omg it was not that bad to smell that was such a fake gag - there isn't really any "medicine effect" I'm sorry but this is not a wine reviewer I will ever watch. Why not talk about what it would go with? What are alternatives for people who want a blackberry/dark fruit wine. I feel like your taste is way off, this isn't even the sweetest of red wines. Look I know you don't like negative comments and will probably ignore or rage at this but if you are going to be a reviewer, try to be less snobby and more unbiased maybe?

I did a review of the 2017 California Roots Chardonnay and gave it 87 points. I thought it was amazing for the pool but as far as a Chardonnay itself goes, it left a heck of a lot to be desired.

If you know the Selbach properties, their vines grow on a very steep incline coming upwards from the river. Thus the reason for the name. They use the pole system to grow the vines because of the steepness of the property.

I had the 2015 and the 2017 and there is a huge difference in the taste. I like the 2015 far better.

Light strike? Tends to be more on the nose….. and that much color extraction with simple flavors…..yeah, not one I’ll be searching out. Cheers.

Another good one, I appreciate the honest reviews. There are a lot of not so great wines out there, at least I know to avoid this one. Pointing out the cork was interesting too.

Great video. I have to disagree. However, wine really is just a matter of taste. Blackstone is my go to house wine. I personally love the dark fruit and the hints of dark cocoa. It’s got good acidity and a pretty decent finish for a wine at the six dollar level. In my opinion, it is the best wine for the price you can get.
